INGREDIENTS:
3 pounds Ocean Spray® Whole Berry Cranberry Sauce 3/4 cup sugar 3/4 cup red wine vinegar 1 red onion, thinly sliced into rings 6 garlic cloves, minced 6 tablespoons fresh basil, minced 1 tablespoon oregano 4 loaves French bread, cut into 3/4-inch slices (16 slices per loaf) Oil
DIRECTIONS:
1. Combine all ingredients, except bread and oil, in a large saucepan.
2. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat and boil gently for about 1 hour or until thickened, stirring occasionally. Cool to room temperature.
3. Brush both sides of each slice of bread with oil. Broil both sides 1-2 minutes or until golden brown.
4. Top each slice of bread with about 1 tablespoon of cranberry mixture.
